who are we?

POD or "Place of Dwelling" is a prototypical dwelling unit, designed and built for the city of Newark, NJ to shelter its homeless population in a dignified manner.

POD was designed and built for $10,000 (material cost) in 3 months by 15 undergraduate Architecture students at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
